Display Advertising

Production Requirements
Advertising material may be submitted camera-ready or as electronic files. BH does have the ability to design and produce advertisements; however, arrangements must be made at least two weeks prior to ad closing. Production charges are set at prevailing rates. BH is produced on the MAC platform using InDesign. Materials submitted must meet the following requirements. Digital: To eliminate the need for supporting files and fonts, ads should be submitted as 300dpi TIF, or high resolution PDF formats with laser and/or color proofs. Files may be sent to ads@backhomemagazine.com. For files larger than 5Mb please submit on CD.

Classified Rates

Pricing
$30 minimum charge for ten or fewer words. Each additional word is $1.50; each additional boldfaced word is $2.00. The first four words will be set in boldfaced capital letters for no extra charge.

Display Classifieds: Are sold at $60 per column inch. Column width is 2-1/4". Art must be camera-ready.

Word Count
Count as one word: each standard word, set of initials, or abbreviation (e.g. USA, mph); entire business or personal name (within reason); street address; city; state initials and zip; 10-digit phone number. A dimension (e.g. 10 x 10) is one word.

Payment
In order to keep our rates low we require that payment in U.S. funds be submitted with your classified order.

Discounts
Payment in advance for multiple order:
3x–4x: 4%, 5x–6x: 8%.
